- Group names and group images (Pro feature).

- Expenses, payments, categories, notes, and attachments (like receipt photos).
- Added payment methods (informational only, not processed by GroupSplit).
- Exported data that you choose to generate (you control those files).
C. Device & Usage Data
- Device info (OS, app version, IP).
- Activity logs (expenses added, groups joined, notifications sent).
- Location data (only if you enable “Add Location to Expenses” in Pro).
D. Communications
- Messages sent via Live Chat for support.
- Feedback, suggestions, and bug reports.
E. Pro Features
- Receipt Scanning (AI by GPT): Receipts you upload are processed by AI services to extract expense data.
- Widgets: Widgets display expense and group data stored on your device.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, sync, and improve GroupSplit.
- Show shared expenses and balances within your groups.
- Send activity-based notifications and reminders.
- Process Pro subscriptions and manage billing.
- Offer support via live chat.
- Enhance security (Face ID/biometric login).

We do not sell your personal data.
4. Sharing & Disclosure

We use encryption, secure storage, and optional Face ID for added protection. No system is 100% secure, so please use a strong password and keep your device safe.
